series. Students learn about business first-hand as they become
zoo managers and make decisions. Five lessons integrate science,
math, language arts and economics.
Students
- study the rainforest, its animals, and fragile balance
- examine the costs of including a rainforest exhibit in their
zoo
- analyze the revenues they will receive
- conduct a profit analysis on concessions as a means of increasing
revenue
- produce and play the rainforest game
