WZOOCONOMY II : ZOO BUSINESS (Grade 6-8)

This is the next in the award-winning zooconomy series. Students learn about business first-hand as they become zoo managers and make decisions. Five lessons integrate science, math, language arts and economics.

Students

  • study the rainforest, its animals, and fragile balance
  • examine the costs of including a rainforest exhibit in their zoo
  • analyze the revenues they will receive
  • conduct a profit analysis on concessions as a means of increasing revenue
  • produce and play the rainforest game

Workshop and all materials are free.
