workshop strengthens students' understanding of mathematical concepts
through real-world economic and personal finance applications. The
workshop is appropriate for teachers of a variety of mathematics
courses, including pre-algebra, algebra I & II, pre-calculus
and calculus, and data analysis/probability. This is an interdisciplinary
workshop created specifically for mathematics instructors-NO BACKGROUND
IN ECONOMICS IS NEEDED.
Continental breakfast, lunch, curriculum materials, and prizes provided.
Need a minimum of 20 registrants.
