| Studies
have shown that students who are exposed to the economic way of
thinking are more self-confident and more competent in making financial
decisions, building their careers, and acting as informed citizens.
The seventeen lessons in this workshop are divided into five theme
areas:

way of thinking
- Earning an
income
- Saving
- Spending
and using credit
- Managing

This curriculum also includes a take-home component, so parents can be involved in reinforcing skills at home. This is an interdisciplinary area that incorporates language
arts, computation skills, economics, finance, reasoning and decision
making.
NO ECONOMICS
