CHILDREN’S LITERATURE AND ECONOMICS GRADE K-2

This workshop uses the emphasis on language arts in the No Child Left Behind initiative to also teach basic economic concepts. There are fifteen lessons, each using a different book. Each lesson has a song and at least one activity-based component so students can participate in the lesson. Economic lessons complement the following children’s trade books:

NO BACKGROUND IN ECONOMICS IS NEEDED.
